Mochilas made by Arhuaco youth, enrolled as seniors in high school or studying nursing, teaching and foreign languages. Each mochila is one step closer to making their dreams come true.
Mama Mochila maintains a general fund for emergency student expenses like graduation fees ($85.00), monthly tuition ($50.00) and school supplies. Every Mama Mochila craft has a backstory supporting Arhuaco youth and their families. Be a part of the movement for Indigenous rights and access to education!
